When this fully rehabbed 4BDRM/2.5BA historic-era home near Indy's esteemed Riverside Park hit the market, we hoped that the market would notice. After all, it had new floors, fresh paint, a brand new half bath AND a brand new kitchen--complete with stainless steel appliances.
So, we got together and discussed strategy. We would stage the house, have it professionally photographed and list early on a Thursday to give the market time to notice our new listing.
Well, they noticed.
They really noticed.
The seller's phone started ringing almost immediately.
We had nearly 50 showing requests in a 36 hour period and 14 offers appeared. Her phone was still ringing, even after final bid call, which was 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Easter Sunday, even.*
