When my lovely clients and I started looking at homes in the Indy Metro Area, we were on a search-and-discover mission. They wanted a ranch-style home with a bit of land, no homeowner's association, and plenty of room for storage.
But where to find such a place in a low inventory, scarcity market? There were so many areas to look!
Every journey has to start somewhere though, so off we went.
First, we went to McCordsville and toured a fabulous farmhouse. "Nice house," my clients said, "If only it were it were in Brownsburg."
Then we went to Camby and viewed a fantastic fixer-upper. "Nice house," my clients said, "If only it were it were in Brownsburg."
A week later, we went to Cicero and visited a beat-up bungalow. "Nice house," my clients said, "If only it were in Brownsburg."
Brownsburg.
Brownsburg.
Brownsburg.
Ain't no sense lookin' anywhere else.
So, when this rare little ranch popped up--within walking distance to the downtown, with all its shops, restaurants and entertainment--we had to act fast.
How fast?
Well, let's just say that I am not above writing an offer in the parking lot of a bowling alley.
You got wi-fi? Then I got an offer to write.
STRIKE!
Offer accepted!
