Giant internet retailer Amazon is hiring over 800 people to work in their Greenfield, Indiana fulfillment center.
Amazon says the jobs will pay $15 per hour and offer comprehensive benefits from the first day on the job.
Back in July, Amazon signed an industrial lease for a 530,400 square foot warehouse. This makes a lot of sense when you think about it.
When it comes to logistics, Indianapolis is ideal for many reasons: centrally located in the heart of the United States, low cost of living, and a dedicated, hard-working Hoosier work force ready to get the job done.
